Cancer-free trees
Next to our tree nursery area, near Chioggia, there is no orcharding. The proximity to the sea favourites a continuous air-exchange. These are optimal conditions to protect the fruit trees from cancer.
This is mainly important for areas with humid climate where the plants are therefore prone to fruit tree cancer (Nectria).
